# Terms & base-image acknowledgment

> Accepting the Terms & Conditions and acknowledging the base workspace images before any charge.

Before any billing action, AgentBees asks you to accept the **Terms & Conditions**
and explicitly acknowledge the **base images** your workspaces run on. This keeps a
clear, per-transaction record of what you agreed to.

## What you're acknowledging

The Terms checkbox shows the current base-image specs:

* **Base workspace image** — ½ vCPU · 512 MiB RAM · 500 MiB disk
* **Base Web IDE image** — 1 vCPU · 1 GiB RAM · 1 GiB disk

## Where it appears

<CardGroup cols={2}>
  <Card title="On the Billing page" icon="credit-card">
    A **page-level** acceptance is required **every visit**, before any charge — subscribing,
    switching modes, funding the wallet, enabling backup, or buying pool capacity. Pay buttons stay
    disabled until you tick it.
  </Card>

  <Card title="On task & pipeline creation" icon="wand-magic-sparkles">
    A one-time acceptance gates creating a task or running a pipeline. Once you've accepted the
    current version, you won't be asked again until it changes.
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

<Note>
  The billing gate is intentionally **always shown** — for a payment we want an explicit
  acknowledgment each time. The task/pipeline gate is one-time per version.
</Note>

## Audit record

When a charge succeeds, AgentBees writes a **transaction-linked** acceptance
record — who accepted, which base-image specs, and for what transaction (plan
checkout, plan change, plan switch, wallet top-up, backup enable, or pool add-on).
This gives your org a full audit trail of consent tied to each billing event.

## When terms change

If the base images or terms change, the version is bumped and **everyone must
re-accept** on their next billing action or task/pipeline creation. There's
nothing to do in advance — you'll simply see the checkbox again.
